If a large part of your email messages are not delivered, the chances of that are being deleted by spam filters by mistake are very great.

This is a list of guidelines you should always follow when creating your email messages.
1. If you’re using HTML emails, include a portion of text in the email as well, for recipients (spam drivers), and keep the text as close as possible to HTML. The more you interact the less likely your email is seen as spam.
2. Keep the distribution of their messages as simple as possible. Avoid complex formatting (otherwise they will be better, but fewer people will receive it).
3. Pay particular attention to the subject of the mail: never use the exclamation point (!), CAPS, and words such as “free”, “guaranteed”, and text with spaces (textoconespacios)
4. Avoid general formulas of greeting like “Dear Customer” is better still to avoid any kind of greeting.
5. If you’re using HTML emails. Do not use tools that generate HTML from low quality (eg MS Word). They often leave signs behind (like empty tags, eg:), which is usually found in spam. Unbalanced tags and invalid tags will also be marking the email as spam. If you use a title, make sure it is meaningful – the default titles generated by HTML herrmaientas are generally used as a signature of spam.
6. Do not insert components (Javascript, ActiveX, plug-ins) in your message. If you need rich content, just link to media in place.
7. Do not put a lot of graphics in your messages. The fewer images possess, the better will be sent your message.
8. Avoid attachments, use links to files stored on a web server.
9. Use email and mailing tools that work properly. Well constructed emails (technically correct) can not easily be identified as spam. Emails with missing mime sections, invalid message ids or missing headers invalid or missing date, subject or other headers to unicode, etc.. are frequently signs of spam.
10. Avoid useless or needless encodings. Do not use base-64 unless you need it.
11. Do not include a statement that your mail is not spam. Do not claim compliance with any valid legal process, specifically one that is not really law in your country. Only spam needs to claim compliance: non-spam is supposed to be already in compliance.
12. Use normal conversational language, do not use excessive spacing and or capitalization on your subject.
13. Do not use spellings, Do not SPACE out your words and do not put LEtr ‘s strange in your posts.
14. If you’re using HTML emails, do not use invisible web-bugs to track your emails. If you must track your emails and if read, use visible graphics as part of your email, not invisible graphics.
15. Do not include references to spam in the subject. Do not talk about rolex watches, sexually oriented activities or drugs, or debts, or treatment, unless these issues are directly related to your email. And if they do, limit email to one topic at a time. An email which mentions rolex watches, Viagra, pornography, and debt all in one is likely to be marked as spam, even if everything else is clear.
16. Do not use tools used by spammers (eg, advertised in spam).
17. Use a good trusted SMTP server. Most undeliverable mails come from poor SMTP services, which often lead to being blacklisted: make sure your SMTP service staff is ready to help if you are blacklisted by mistake.
18. Make your privacy policy, including contact information, it is easy to find and clear on its website. It is good to include information on where to find this information (on where to find policy, contact information), in your emails. Once again, people need to know if you are a spammer and often look for that information: this will help you not enter blacklists.
19. Be careful in your advertising, and be careful about the advertisers that you carry. If you post with companies that send spam, your domains will be marked as being related to spam. If you are advertising for those who spam, your domains will be flagged as spam.
20. Beware of domains / businesses which can advertise in your emails (if you do). By allowing spammers to advertise in your emails, your emails will be marked by the black lists of addresses. On the other hand, do not post their domains with spammers – if your domain name is in their spams, also included on a blacklist.

By sending many directions is normal that not all emails reach their destination: some addresses may have been disabled or having temporary problems, email servers can be overloaded, the connection may be temporarily interrupted or slow. If the percentage of messages sent is very low, or not sent any messages, you need to check the Send Settings.

In fact, it may be necessary to change the mode of transmission (direct or via SMTP) and, if your SMTP server uses spam filters, reduce the number of connections and increase the pause between messages. The SMTP server may have restrictions that prevent you to send more than a certain amount of messages in a specific time period (eg a particular server may not allow sending more than 50 emails per hour), in which case, after a first shipment, the operation can be completed later using the History functions.

If the SMTP server antispam restrictions can not be overridden and sending operations are successful only at low speeds, you should try the direct send mode, or an SMTP server uilizar “more tolerant” (you can subscribe online at low prices, efficient SMTP services).

If the problem arises when using direct send mode, you may need to manually specify the IP addresses of DNS servers.

These days most mail servers have spam filters built, are very intelligent, but sometimes they fail and delete (or mark as spam and redirected to the folder “spam”) perfectly legal messages; this is a problem common with Hotmail and other free email services. If you believe that many of your emails are being filtered and not delivered, this has some basic rules to avoid being classified as spammer by mistake:

1. Always include plain text: E-mail messages “personal”, even if they are written in HTML format, always include a plain text part. If the plain text part is missing, most antispam filters become suspicious of this message. When you finish composing your message, use the “Text from HTML” to automatically create a plain text part from HTML.

2. Most of your message must be text; avoid including large images. Once again, antispam filters become suspicious when the image / text ratio is too high.

3. Do not abuse the attachments: attachments should only be used in small and personal lists, if you publish a newsletter, upload files to your website and use links instead (your subscribers will find themselves happier too).

4. Avoid using the words used by spammers and that usually flood your mailbox.

5. Switch to Smtp: While Direct Send mode is very useful in many situations, unfortunately nowadays a lot of mail server refuse direct delivery to prevent spam. You should instead use an SMTP server to send mass emails to many recipients.

6. Try using our Spam Software Qualification, use it in your email before sending for a score and see if the spam email servers will call it as SPAM blocking your email.

The error “Operation not socket socket” means that, for some reason, the TCP-IP on Windows has been sobrecarcado, and channel socket (which is used for communication with the Internet) has been closed as abruptly.

This error can have many causes, which generally require a good analysis of network and networking skills to be discovered. But most times it’s just a temporary error that can be solved simply by restarting Windows.

If the error repeats, here are some tips:
• Before launching a mass mailing, close all other programs and processes, especially those requiring Internet access
• Temporarily disable your firewall, antivirus, and any other Internet security program
• As a test, to discover timing problems on the network, configure shipping options SendBlaster to use only 1 connection and set a 5 second pause between messages (if it works, you should gradually increase the speed later)
• Search in the system and make sure it has no spyware, Trojan horses or other software running that style (can access the Internet in a very sileciosa)
• Update the drivers for all your network devices (modems, routers)
• If you are on a wireless connection, make sure the connection is good and stable
• Apply Windows updates if available
• If using an SMTP server, verify that it is running (you may need to check with your ISP)
• As a last resort, install tora SendBlaster on PC connected to the same local area network (so you can check if the problem comes from your PC or network)
Since this is a problem with the network, you can find additional information by searching for the error in a search engine.

If apparently valid subscriptions are processed, there may be several reasons:

3. The wrong list was selected (please remember that each list has a different account)
6. New messages are not subscriptions, but email messages “normal” in the inbox (can also be spam)

To verify that everything is correct, you should create a list of “evidence” in white, set up a new email address to manage subscriptions (please note that each list can have a different account) and send an e-subscription to that account, then download the subscriptions to the list of “evidence”.

Sometimes we receive requests from users who need to know how subscriptions / cancellations by email function. While all of these topics are explained in detail in our. Sometimes We Receive requests from users asking how e-mail subscriptions / cancellations and bounce-backs processing work in SendBlaster. While All These topics are extensively Explained in our documentation, we know that a simple practical example may help you understand these issues faster and with less effort. So, here we give a short tutorial which guides you through the receipt of subscriptions and cancellations SendBlaster, and process emails rejected.

What you need
You need an Smtp account and three email addresses to work (you must be the owner of all of them – please make sure that email addresses are separated and not just aliases):
• A subscription to receive (in the following example, “suscripciones@misitio.com”)
• One to send the newsletter (eg “newsletter@misitio.com”)
• An address of “test user”, which will be subscribed to the mailing list and receive success (ie “prueba@misitio.com”), this last account will be set up in your regular email client (eg Outlook Express) so you can send emails.
(Obviously you will use your own directions, “suscripciones@misitio.com”, “newsletter@misitio.com” and “prueba@misitio.com” are just some examples)

Testing subscriptions
1. Create a new blank list and name it “TESTLIST”
2. Configure “Manage Subscriptions”: select “TESTLIST” and enter the Pop3 account details to “suscripciones@misitio.com”
3. From your regular email client, send a message from “prueba@misitio.com” a “suscripciones@misitio.com” with “Subscribe” as subject
4. “Manage subscriptions”, select “TESTLIST” and press “Download”
If everything was configured properly, SendBlaster will notice a new subscription and add the sender “prueba@misitio.com” a “TESTLIST” (select “Manage Lists” to verify)
Cancellation Testing
1. From your regular email client, send a message from “prueba@misitio.com” a “suscripciones@misitio.com” with “Unsubscribe” as subject
2. “Manage subscriptions”, select “TESTLIST” and press “Download”
If everything was configured properly, SendBlaster will notice a new cancellation and remove the sender “prueba@misitio.com” list “TESTLIST” (select “Manage Lists” to verify)

Rejections test
1. Add a list that does not exist to “TESTLIST” make sure that the domain does not exist (for example “abcd@123prueba123.org”)
2. Configure “Manage bounce” select “TESTLIST” and enter the Pop3 account details “newsletter@misitio.com”
3. Write a simple message from the form of “Send”, send email to “TESTLIST” using your Smtp account and “newsletter@misitio.com” as the sender
4. After some time (minutes or hours, depending on your SMTP server), in “Manage bounce” select “TESTLIST” enable “Process rejections strong,” “Process rejections weak” and “Delete bounced addresses”, and finally press “Download”
If everything was configured properly, SendBlaster will notice a new rejection and remove “abcd@123prueba123.org” of “TESTLIST”

The file probably contains non-ANSI characters: If a character of “end-of-file” is found, which should not be present in an ANSI file, this error can occur. Please make sure your csv file contains only ANSI characters. If you want to convert and / or correct, this is what you should do:

1. Create a new file. Txt with Notepad (it is very important to be created from scratch)
2. Open the old file with Notepad and copy all the text
3. Copy the text in the new file
4. Import the new file

This should correct ANSI problems in most cases. Obviously this is a trick for emergencies only: Set the program you used to export to only export ANSI files.
